Nila's Taste of Indonesia
A 3-3.5 star. The service is good here and the food quality is tasty. The portions are ok and plating can be a little better (including maybe not using styrofoam plates). Not many indonesian places around so I do applaud them in introducing classic dishes. The chili sauce and rice are a good staple and definitely authentic. Items here are mainly 10.99. A good place to go to try some simple/low key indo food for the first time but don't expect anything fancy.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered kare ayam, and I love this chicken curry rice!! Owners are very nice too!! Definitely will go back to check out their other dishes soon!!! Yum…

Had the beef rendang, gado gado, and kueh lapis legit/thousand layer cake. The kueh lapis was amazing, and I'd bet it is better than anywhere else in Canada (at least)!

It's first time to try Indonesia style food even I visited the mall many times. It tasted great and was eaten quickly. Other guests nearby were also full of praise. Everyone enjoyed the food at the restaurant. The other photos are of Taiwanese food provided by other side restaurant, which I don't particularly like.

Amazing food, and Nila + the other cook are very friendly. Great service. They asked if I wanted my food spicy and made it the perfect spice level. The food me reminisce on my time in Indonesia.Thank you Nila! I will be returning!

Went here in August because I was curious if there's any good Indonesian eateries in Calgary. The place itself is a booth in the food court of Crossroads Market. I ordered their Tossed Chicken Noodles (Mie Ayam) to dine in the food court.As an Indonesian, I really liked the Chicken Noodles. It's not identical to the one in Indonesia, but knowing that it's thousands of kilometers away from Indonesia, this might just be as authentic as it gets! The owners were really nice as well! You might want to give them a visit if you're in Calgary and curious about Indonesian cuisine.

I was gifted the Kue Lapis Legit and Tapioca Cheese Cookies (Sagu Keju) over Christmas, and everyone in my household loved them!The amount of time and energy it takes to make Kue Lapis Legit is impressive, and the results are well worth the time!Terima Kasih Nila, for such wonderful treats! :) I can't wait to pop down and have a meal one day soon as well!

Ordered the tossed noodles and the coconut curry chicken + rice dish. Everything was so flavourful and the chicken was fall apart tender. You can tell the love they put into their food! My 2 year old devoured the noodles! And the chili sauce is amazing! Service was warm and welcoming as well. Thank you for our delicious lunch and for sharing your cuisine with us. Would totally recommend!

Their yellow coconut rice is a must try! I thought it was too much rice, but I finished it all easily. Amazing foods, and they're super friendly!
