The best and most authentic beef rendang in Victoria! The gado gado wrap is also a must try. Owner is amazing! We keep on coming back for more!

The best meal I've had while visiting Victoria. I took the spring roll and satay chicken. They were absolutely amazing. Very flavorful. The included rice was out of this world. 100% recommend this hidden gem.

Has to be my favouriteFood in Victoria so far! It tasted amazing but it’s very spicy! We had the green curry and the spicy hard boiled egg dish and wow… we will be coming back soon!!! Good prices (13-20$/dish)and great location. The owner/cook is very kind too! I would recommend to anyone

I just so happen to walk past by this tiny gem and was immediately intrigued. Bana, the owner has a very decorated culinary career and it really shows in the amazing dishes he creates. Food came really quick and I enjoyed the Rendang I ordered. I will be sure to come back here!

You might wonder why I would give 5 ⭐ for atmosphere? Yes, there are only stand-up sitting for like 2 but I like the homely feel of sheer humbleness, matched by chef Bana who is so incredibly down to earth with checking first bites to proactively asking for water refills when he must have strong ESP or perhaps he noticed a tiny tear out of the corner of eye (mix of joy & my slight sensitivity to high echelon numbing spicing). The dish I ordered was out of this world. Bana when he asked how my first bites were, I uttered out, Phenomenal" as my first response. I've chatted away with his other customers and it's confirmed this place is still the only Indonesian eatery in the capital. If you want to try authentic Indonesian cuisine

Truly a hidden gem in Victoria. As an Indonesian, this place is quite authentic but the menu is pretty limited. Everything was prepared skillfully and incredibly tasty. A bit of warning for those who has a low heat tolerance, everything is a tad spicy. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Victoria.

Really tasty food and kind service! I wish the chicken satay was grilled more, so it was nice and charred. I also thought the beef in the curry was a bit overcooked. Other than that, the springs were amazing and all the flavours and textures were lovely!

Not bad at all but not all the dishes lived up to my expectations. The spring roll was delicious (tofu, egg, vermicelli, spinach) and the peanut sauce is perfect. Satay chicken skewers used the same sauce but the chicken itself was a little bland. He was very nice to give us four instead of three! Spicy hard boiled eggs with rice was good, the chile crisp sauce flavourful, coconut rice paired well and pickled veggies was a nice addition. The beef in the rendang was very tough and did not have a lot of flavour, but it could’ve been an off-day because we were the last order.Keep in mind that the dishes are quite spicy except for the skewers and spring rolls. The chef is very kind and works hard to make all the orders as a one-man team! Get there early as we came back after an hour to pick up our order. Overall came to around $50 for the four items!
